- Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Begin your Malaysia tour by visiting the famous Batu Caves, one of the most important Hindu temples in Kuala Lumpur. As you climb the steps to the Batu Caves, be prepared to share the steps with monkeys running around freely. They make for an exciting and unforgettable climb. There are several caves within the Batu Caves complex. The main cave is the Cathedral Cave which has a ceiling height of over 100m and it’s decorated with Hindu shrines. After the caves you will make a couple of stops at the Deer Land and Aboriginal Settlement before heading out to the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. The highlight of this day tour and probably the most memorable is the experience of riding the elephants down to a nearby river of the rainforest and helping out with their bathing and grooming routine. A local lunch and soft drinks will be provided. Don’t forget, you will get wet so go prepared. Later in the day you will be returning to the hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure.
