2 Beijing Arrival

When Arriving in Beijing, you will be greeted by our professional tour guide at the Beijing Capital Airport and then transferred to the Hotel. The Rest of the Day will be free for your own leisure, and you can choose other scenic spots to visit at your own expense.

Day 3 Beijing B L D

After Breakfast, Visit the Forbidden City, Where is the Palace for 24 Ming and Qing Dynasty Emperors. And proceed to the Tian An Men Square. Then visit out said of the beautiful National Center of Performing Arts, people like to call it the Pearl in the Lake. Afterwards, visit the Summer Palace, the famous resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. Tonight enjoy the Delicious Peking Duck Dinner.

Day4 Beijing B L D

After Breakfast, Visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties Worshiped heaven and prayed for an abundant Harvest. Then Visit the Great Wall, the only man-made structure on the earth that can be Observed by the naked eyes from the outer space. On the way, Visit out Side View of the Main Olympic Stadium-Known as the Bird Nest and the Water Cube. Enjoy a Chinese Acrobatic Show after Dinner.

Day5 Beijing/Xian B L D

Fly to Xian, the ancient capital city for Han Tang and other 11 dynasties in the history. Ascend the Ming-Dynasty Bell Tower located at the very center of Xian city. Standing on the top of it, the south gate of ancient city wall of the Ming can be seen in distance and meanwhile the busy traffic is going around you. After lunch, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. A Dumplings Feast will be served for your dinner. Tonight you will enjoy the spectacular Tang Dynasty Dance Show.

Day6 Xian B L D

After breakfast, we drive to visit Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses: discovered in 1974 by local farmers digging a well, the warriors were one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th century. The over 6,000 life-size painted terracotta warriors and horses individually sculpted from real-life models and arranged in battle formation have been protecting the mausoleum of the first emperor in Chinese history, Emperor Qin Shihuang, for over 2,200 years. on the way back, we pay a visit to Xian ceremic and art factory.

Day7 Xian/Luoyang (by Express Train) B L D

Today, We Shall take G-series express train to Luoyang, a national historical and cultural famous city well-known globally, known as the Ancient Capital of Nine Dynasties. upon your arrival. we will pick you up to visit the Longmen Grottoes first, then the Guanlin Monastery. The grottoes, which earn the fame of one of Three Treasure Houses of Stone Sculpture in China, were created over 1,500 years ago, prolonging for 1,000 meters from north to south. There are 2,300 caves and niches with over 100,000 Buddhist figures, more than 2,800 tablet inscriptions and some 40 Buddhist pagodas. The Guanlin Monastery is the burial place for the head of General Guanyu of the Shu State during the Three-Kingdom period. He has been called “The Supreme Mighty Saint Emperor Guan” mainly for his “Equity, Loyalty and Honesty”.

Day8 Luoyang-Dengfeng B L D

After breakfast, we will visit the White Horse Temple and Shenzhou Peony Park. The White Horse Temple is the earliest Buddhist temple officially built in China thus the birthplace of Chinese Buddhism. Peony, a flowering plant unique in China, enjoying a high reputation for being intoxicating beauty with magic perfume, is regarded as a symbol of bliss, wealth and honor. Then we go to Dengfeng to visit “The No.1 Temple Under Heaven”—The Shaolin Temple. It is famous not only for the birthplace of Chinese Zen Buddhism but also the magical Martial Arts. Later we will visit the Pagoda Forest which is the burial place for some important monks.
P.S. At night, we can prefer to enjoy the amazing Zen Music Shaolin Grand Ceremony or not. It is performed under the real setting of the Mt. Songshan. It is up to you! You should pay for it if you want to enjoy it since its ticket is not included in the total price.

Day9 Dengfeng-Kaifeng B L D

After breakfast, we will go to the ancient capital for 7 dynasties—Kaifeng to visit Park With “Up the River on Chingming Festival” Views. The park was designed and built according to the views on the well-known scroll painting “Up the River on Chingming Festival” paint by Zhang Zeduan. The painting vividly described the spectacles and the busy life of the local people at that time. Then we will visit the “No.1 Pagoda under Heaven”—Iron Pagoda Park. The pagoda is famous for its material and looking: glazed bricks and tiles in brown, which looks quite similar to iron-rust in a distance. Later we will see the Memorial Temple to Bao-gong and Shan-Shaan-Gan Guilhall.

Day10 Kaifeng-Zhengzhou B L D

After breakfast, we will visit the Yellow River Sightseeing Zone in Zhengzhou. There you can have a general image about the maternal river of Chinese and the statues of ancestor-Yan Emperor and Yellow Emperor. Then we will visit the Henan Museum in Zhengzhou city.
P.S. You can prefer to take the cruise to go into the Yellow River or not. You have to pay for it if you would choose it.

Day11 Zhenzhou-Shanghai B L D

Fly to Shanghai, One of the Largest Commercial Cities in China. Spend the Day Visiting Beautiful Traditional Garden- Yu Garden, Cheng Huang Temple, the Bund and shopping along Nanjing Road. You Can also View the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (No Ascending).

Day12 Shanghai Departure B

After Breakfast, We Could Visit the Hand-Made Craftwork Center. Then, transfer to the airport, Ending the Wonderful 12 Days China Tour.
