PEN 01 CITY TOUR
Discover the heritage of Penang….Photo stop at Fort Cornwallis where Capt. Francis Light first landed; walk along the Chew Jetty – an old Chinese waterfront settlement; visit the majestic and ornate Khoo Clan Ancestral House and the massive Reclining Buddha. Next, proceed to the Royal Selangor Pewter craftsmanship before escaping from the hustle and bustle of city in the tranquil and green surroundings of the Botanic Gardens where you may see the wild monkeys roam freely in the park.


PEN 02 HILL & TEMPLE TOUR
A fascinating tour of the central part of the island … Explore the renowned Kek Lok Si Temple, one of the most splendid temples in the Far East, with its pagoda of 10,000 Buddhas and tortoise sanctuary. Ascend Penang Hill by funicular railway and enjoy a panoramic view of Georgetown, the capital of Penang.


PEN 03 AROUND THE ISLAND
Explore the island of Penang … Drive along the scenic north coast calling at a typical fishing village. Visit a handicraft factory for demonstration of Malaysian Batik printing. Wind through durian, clove and nutmeg plantations and stop at a farmer’s fruit stall. Travel pass unspoiled countryside, quaint Malay kampongs and visit the unique Snake Temple. Continue drive pass the longest bridge in South-East Asia before returning to your hotel through the suburbs of Georgetown city.
 

PEN 04 BUTTERFLY FARM & BOTANIC GARDENS
Visit the Butterfly Farm located at the seaside district of Telok Bahang. A sanctuary for rare and exotic butterflies, the farm is complete with a hatchery and a ‘Preserved Butterflies of the World’ museum. Next, adjourn to the 72 hectares and more than a century old Botanic Gardens near the foothills. Stroll through the sprawling grounds and learn about the rare species of flora while monkeys roam freely in their natural habitat.
 

PEN 05 PENANG LIFESTYLE
Walk through a wet market for a first-hand look at fresh vegetables, meats and seafood. Then hop onboard Penang’s unique ‘King of the Road’ – the Trishaw for a brief exhilarating ride through the streets of the city to the Pinang Peranakan Mansion. This 19th century old townhouse of eclectic design and architecture incorporating tiles and Scottish iron-works , displays over 1000 pieces of antiques and collectibles. Here learn about the cultural heritage of the Baba and Nyonya – the Straits Settlements’ Chinese.
 

PEN 06 NATURE & SPICE TOUR
Visit the 22-acre Tropical Agro Farm and take a farm tour to see 140 species of tropical fruits and spices. Next, stop at the Penang’s only arboretum and learn the origin and by-products of various trees. Finally, adjourn to the Tropical Spice Garden, set in an 8-acre valley. After a light lunch, explore this little pocket of paradise showcasing a living collection of over 500 species of local and introduced flora, with particular emphasis on tropical herbs and spices.

PEN 07 FULL DAY PENANG TOUR WITH LUNCH
Begin the day by driving to the seaside districts of Teluk Bahang to visit the Butterfly Farm, a sanctuary for over 120 species of exotic tropical butterflies. Next, stop at Batik Factory to observe the traditional technique of batik printing using wax and dyes. In Georgetown city, learn about the history of the island at the State Museum and at Fort Cornwallis facing the Esplanade. By trishaw - Penang’s ‘King of the road’, take a leisurely ride to Khoo Kongsi Clan House and admire the intricate carvings and woodwork of this heritage building. In the afternoon, ride the funicular railway up Penang Hill, 830 meters above sea level for a panoramic view of Georgetown, the capital of Penang.

PEN 08 GEORGETOWN BY NIGHT
A pleasant evening in the city …Enjoy an outdoor meal dining under the stars at one of Penang's many ‘Glutton Square’, sampling local delicious cuisine like the ever popular ‘satay’, ‘char koay teow’ and many others dishes, while watching how they are prepared. After dinner, enjoy the sights and sounds of the city by taking a trishaw ride through the heart of Georgetown. Finally relax over one round of drink at Farquhar’s Bar at the elegant Eastern & Oriental Hotel.

PEN 09 EVENING SUNSET TOUR
An experience of Penang at dusk … Drive through the residential areas passing by the State Mosque to the foot of Penang Hill. Ascend by funicular railway to the summit and stroll to the quaint and cosy Bellevue Hotel to admire the exotic birds in its grounds. Enjoy the spectacular view of the city at dusk over a steamboat dinner. After descending the hill, proceed to Gurney Plaza located along the seafront for some night shopping before your return to the hotel.

PEN 10 FULL DAY PULAU PAYAR EXCURSION
A full day outing to Malaysia’s first marine park - Pulau Payar. A 1½ hour ferry ride from the island of Penang, you will arrive at the Langkawi Coral’s reef platform. Here, there is an underwater observatory platform, glass bottom boats, snorkelling and diving equipment to permit a close up look of the colourful marine life. Transfers, snorkelling mask & fins and buffet lunch (except hire of scuba equipment and drinks) are included.
 

PEN 11 LANGKAWI NATURE DISCOVERY
A full day excursion of the tropical island of Langkawi, famed for its myths and legends. On arrival at Kuah Jetty by ferry from Penang, visit Eagle Square and come face to face with Giant Groupers, Sharks, Moray Eels and other schools of fishes at Underwater World Aquarium. Next by 8-seater motorized boats take a close up view of mangrove swamps, observe the feedings of wild eagles and experience a limestone cave adventure. Return journey by ferry to Penang in the evening.

PEN 12 FULL DAY LANGKAWI HIGHLIGHTS
Langkawi, the island of many legends, is famous for its tranquility, sandy beaches, and duty free shopping. Travel to Langkawi by ferry, a journey of 2 ½ hours duration. On arrival, visit Eagle Square; photo stop at white sand beach of Tanjung Rhu and ride the Langkawi Cable Car ** up Gunung Mat Cincang 708 meters above sea level for a panoramic view of Langkawi’s many islands. At the Underwater World Aquarium, come face to face with Giant Groupers, Sharks, Moray Eels and other schools of fishes. Here you will see 3 ecosystems – the Tropical Rainforest, the Temperate and the Sub Antarctic World. Finally do some duty free shopping at Kuah town prior to your return to Penang by ferry.
