MKZ 01 HISTORICAL MALACCA TOUR
The tour highlights the most historic city in Malaysia. You will visit the following places of interest:
MACAU GALLERY - The Gallery is envisaged to showcase the arts and culture of Macau as well as the history of Macau, Melaka, Portugal & China.
THE STADTHUYS - It was built in 1650 as the official residence of the Dutch Governor. It now houses the Ethnography Museum. On display are traditional bridal costumes and relics from the past.
CHRIST CHURCH - Built in 1753, Christ Church is a living testimony to Dutch architecture. Take note that the pews and ceiling beams were constructed without joints.
ST PAUL’S CHURCH - Built by a Portuguese Capital by the name of Duarte Coelho, the chapel was turned by the Dutch into a burial ground for their noble dead and renamed it St Paul’s Church. St Francis Xavier was briefly enshrined in the open grave in 1553 before being shipped to Goa, India
PORTA DE SANTIAGO - Also known as A’ Famosa, the fortress was built by the Portuguese to defend their position from invaders. However, when the Dutch invaded Malacca, the fortress suffered severe damage and the Dutch later went about destroying what remained of the walls. Hence, all that remains now is the entrance to what was once an imposing structure that defended the city from attack.
 

MKZ 02 PLANTATION EXPLORATION
The tour will show you the rural scenery of Malacca as well as providing an understanding of some of the main economic activities of the people. Find out how rubber trees are tapped, how its latex is collected and subsequently processed into rubber sheets and bales for export. Also comprehend how oil palm is cultivated and harvested. Lastly, experience an insight into the customs and culture of the Malays via a visit to a traditional "kampong" home.
 

MKZ 03 AN EVENING WITH THE CHITTY FAMILY
The Chitty is a hybrid community that emerged from inter-marriages between the Hindu traders and local Malays, Chinese, Javanese and Batak. This community, domiciled in Melaka, has been around since the reign of the Melaka Sultanate in the early 15th Century.
The tour starts with a guided tour of the Chitty Museum, where ones can discover its unique heritage through exhibits that include handicraft, photographs, pots, old lamps, altars and other related to their dying culture.
The, proceed for a leisure walk through the Chitty Village and have the opportunity to observe the villages and ends up at the 200 years old Sri Muthu Mariaman Temple. It has some of the most beautiful colourful temple sculptures. The walk will ends at a Chitty house where tea with local home-made local cakes of the day will be serve and also participate with some on-hand activities with the family.
In the evening, we will proceed for a Sunset River Cruise along Malacca River and enjoy a unique riverside dining experience at local restaurant.
