Itinerary:

Day 1. Arrive Beijing
You will be greeted by our Beijing tour guide and transferred to check in at your hotel where you are at your leisure to relax and enjoy the evening.

Day 2. Beijing (AB, L)
Beijing is the capital city of China, with population of 17.4 million. Your first day tour begins at the Tian An Men Square, noted as the largest public square in the world with its monuments and buildings situated around the square's perimeter. Thereafter we will visit the Forbidden City, Pearl Factory and Summer Palace whilst enjoying a walk along Lake Kunming.

Day 3. Beijing (AB, L)
Today, you'll visit the Great Wall (Chang Cheng), one of the greatest wonders of the world, after that, stop at a Jade Museum to learn the history of Jade. In Chinese, jade is pronounced as 'Yu', and it has a history in China of at least four thousand years. In the afternoon, stroll around the Wangfujing Street.

Day 4. Beijing to Xian (AB, SD) plan
You will catch a flight to Xian. Xian - also known as Chang'an in the old days, was the starting point of the historic Silk Road. Visit the Ancient City Wall, 14th-century wall is one of the most complete city walls in China and certainly one of the best examples from the Ming dynasty. Enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet and shortly after watching the world famous Tang Dynasty Stage Show.

Day 5. Xian (AB, L)
You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum (Bing Ma Yong). It's known as the 8th miracle in the world. The whole mausoleum is like a cultural treasure vault with large collections of relics. After the Terra Cotta Army replication factories, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area, a significant cultural relic in Xian.

Day 6. Xian to Dunhuang (AB, L)
After breakfast, take the flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival, the guide will meet you at the airport and then transfer to hotel. After a short break, experience the desert flavor along the Echoing-Sand Dune to Crescent Lake by riding a camel. Surrounded by the echoing-sand mountain,the Crescent Lake is a spring in the shape of a half moon, which can be called a natural wonder.

Day 7. Dunhuang to Shanghai (AB, L) plan
Visit the Mogao Caves- the World Art Treasure House. It is one of the world's most important sites of ancient Buddhist culture. The grottoes, also know as Caves of the Thousand Buddha, preserve nearly a thousand years of Buddhist cave-temple architecture, clay sculpture, mural paintings, and manuscripts, dating from the 5th to the 14th centuries. The Mogao Grottoes are carved into desert cliffs overlooking a river valley about 25 km southwest of Dunhuang. The caves vary enormously in size, from tiny single-room cells that served as living quarters for individual monks to huge, cavernous worship halls housing monumental sculptures and mural cycles. Then, take the flight from Dunhuang to Shanghai.

Day 8. Shanghai (AB, L)
Today's city tour starts with a visit to the Bund, Cheng Huang Miao, you will also experience the bustling shopping district of Nanjing Road and People's Square and use your bargaining skills to acquire memento for this visit. After that, spend some free time at Shanghai Museum. You can easily spend a few hours to examine its rich and high-quality collection of ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy, with special exhibits and collection of 120,000 precious works of art, this museum has become one of the best in China.

Day 9. Shanghai / Departure (AB)
