Morning depart from Los Angeles, going south on fwy 5 to San Diego pier, walk along the pier filled with Latin American artifacts and handicrafts. View the beautiful downtown San Diego and U.S. aircraft carrier in Mission Bay. Optional: Bay cruise (enjoy San Diego Bay's spectacular scenic view and nearby attractions). Then, enter Sea World - the largest and most magnificent marine life park in the world. Here you will experience the excitement of many live shows including Shamu the Killer Whale, and see animal stars from many popular television specials. Return to Los Angeles in the evening.

Starting from Los Angeles, follow the Pacific Coast Highway to San Diego, a beautiful coastal city located at the southern tip of California. The 1.5 hour ride will pass through downtown San Diego and stop at San Diego Harbor, location of Naval Base San Diego, the principal homeport of the US Navy's Pacific Fleet and over 200 individual commands. Join a bay cruise and go aboard the Midway aircraft carrier. Later, we visit the "birthplace" of California - Old Town San Diego. We then proceed to Balboa Park, one of the first public parks in the US, established in 1838, and host of the Panama-California Exposition of 1915-1916 and California Pacific International Exposition of 1935-1936. We return to Los Angeles along the Pacific Coast Hwy.

Also, visit the Third Street Promenade - a vibrant street scene and outdoor shopping center. Proceed on historic Sunset Blvd to Beverly Hills' world-famous Rodeo Drive, a 3-block long luxury fashion center with over 100 world-renowned stores. At the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd, take pictures with movie stars’ hand and footprints. Later, we head to downtown Los Angeles' Staples Center - home to NBA's Lakers, Clippers, and NHL's Kings, and adjacent L.A. Live (L.A.'s Time's Square) - a spectacular new entertainment complex. Also visit the Music Center, Chinatown, and Little Tokyo before returning to Monterey Park at approximately 5:30p.m..

Leave Los Angeles in the morning to Oxnard California, then ride Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner (ticket not included) and enjoy the beautiful panoramic ocean view along the Pacific coast to Santa Barbara. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the Harbor, visit souvenir shops and sea food market, or take a harbor cruise (fare not included). In the afternoon, visit the Santa Barbara Courthouse - built in 1929 - it is perhaps the most beautiful courthouse in the United States and attracts visitors from around the world. Then visit one of the oldest historical landmarks in California - the Santa Barbara Mission, established in 1786. Return to Los Angeles by approximately 7:30p.m.
