Itinerary:

Day 1:  HOMETOWN - Chicago Night Tour
Upon arrive at O’Hare Airport, where a free hotel shuttle bus will be available between 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily. Midway Airport, or arrival not during our free pickup time, transportation to hotel will be managed by oneself or pick service fee for group of 2: $120, $10 for each additional. 
Hotel: Comfort Inn or similar.
 
Day 2:  Chicago - Dutch Village Grand - Rapids - Grayling 
We will start the day with the home of famous author and poet Ernest Hemingway’s birthplace and the collection of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs. After having done so we will travel East to Mount Windmill Island (option), Holland Village (option) and visit the largest Dutch windmills in America. In the afternoon we will visit City of Grand Rapids, the President Ford Museum and Amway headquarters; ending the night in a hotel at Grayling.

Day 3:  Grayling - Mackinac Island - German Town
From Grayling, we will travel through the morning to reach the paradise called Mackinac City. It is one of the world’s most popular island resorts, one of the five most famous Islands for vacation. The Mackinac Bridge, majestic and stretching to the substantial length of 5 miles, connects Michigan’s upper and lower islands. On one side of Mackinac is clear Lake Michigan and the other gleaming Lake Huron. This paradise island aims to retain the scenery before the automobile era, so no motor vehicles are allowed on the island, as if to transport people back through time to a couple of decades ago. Carriages, bicycles and tricycles that run in the street are the island’s main modes of transportation for visitors. An afternoon ferry ride will deliver us to “German Town” to view stunning wooden bridges, cuckoo clocks, a year-round Christmas village full of Christmas spirit, a variety of Christmas ornaments, gift wares. Enjoy Bavarian-style German beer sausage, Flint, near the town overnight.

Day 4:  Flint - Detroit - Cleveland  
This morning we will take a car/bus to Detroit. A tour of the Ford Museum (option) will give us an overview of the evolution of cars from primitive classics to contemporary beauties. We will then travel to Greenfield Village (option) via steam train with a history spanning three centuries for tourist pleasure; ranging from the invention of the train car to the earliest of Edison’s lamps to the invention of the Wright brothers’ airplane. These people sought out to change the world with their inventions and they did just that. Detroit, once a beautiful and prospers city is now bankrupt. The beach of the Great Lakes narrows down as it approaches Detroit City. Canada is right across the Bell Island near the Detroit River. After lunch we will drive by Lake Erie and go to Cleveland to visit the Rock Star Music Hall. We stay overnight in Cleveland by Lake Erie.

Day 5:  Cleveland - Niagara Falls  
In the morning we will head to the world’s largest waterfall, Niagara Falls. The Niagara River collected the water from the other four lakes and flow into Lake Ontario. We will also see the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls while aboard the Maid of the Mist (option)and experience the breathtaking wonders of nature. Thus ending your tour with a safe trip back to Chicago. overnight in Cleveland.

Day 6:  Cleveland - Amish - Chicago - Hometown 
Moving on to Indiana, we arrive at Amish country. You will see people of this culture dressed in peculiar ways, with their men in long coats and black hats, as if back in the eighteenth century. The Amish way of life is highly religious and centered around trying to keep agrarian civilization alive. They lead a simple but hard working life, which often bring people to reevaluate the values and work ethics of their life. For lunch there will be an authentic Amish meal provided from the provisions made on the farm. Then we will visit the largest free market in the United States, complete with a superb selection of Amish handmade and agricultural products. We stay overnight in Chicago. Thus ending your tour with a safe trip back to Chicago. Groups will either board the. please book flight leaving O’Hare Airport after 6:00PM or flight leaving Midway Airport after 7:00PM.
