Malaysia 9-Days / 8-Nights Tour

Day 1: Arrive Kuala Lumpur
This afternoon arrive in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. DORSETT REGENCY HOTEL / RITZ CARLTON

Day 2: Kuala Lumpur
Your morning tour of the city covers the major historical landmarks, such as King’s Palace, the national monument and Merdeka (Independence) Square. Enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the observation deck of KL Tower. The afternoon is free. (B)

Day 3: Malacca Excursion
Drive to Malacca, passing through oil palm and rubber plantations. In Malacca, visit the Dutch Stadthuys, St Paul’s Church and Porta Santiago, all of which were left behind by the Portuguese and Dutch during their colonial rule. Enjoy an
opportunity to taste some local dishes at lunch and observe the unique traditions and culture of Malacca. (BL)

Day 4: Kuala Lumpur - Taman Negara
Early this morning, take a shuttle coach to Kuala Tembeling, followed by a riverboat cruise to Kuala Tahan. Stay overnight in an air-conditioned chalet at MUTIARA TAMAN NEGARA RESORT. In the evening, enjoy a video presentation and a night
jungle walk. (BD)

Day 5: Taman Negara
Begin your day with a jungle trek to the start of the canopy walkway. The canopy walkway stretches about 1,640 feet at a height of nearly 100 feet. Visitors have a rare opportunity to experience the wilderness from the scenic vantage point of
the walkway. In the afternoon, visit Lata Berkoh, a spectacular cascade that marks the limit of easy navigability on the river. There is a deep pool below the cascade and a rocky area overlooking the rapids that offers an ideal place to relax. (BLD)

Day 6: Taman Negara / Kuantan
Depart Kuala Tahan by riverboat to Kuala Tembeling. Then travel overland to Kuantan, the largest town on the East Coast of Malaysai. The rest of the day is at leisure. HYATT REGENCY KUANTAN (B)

Day 7: Kuantan / Tanjong Jara
After breakfast, visit the kampong, or small Malaysian village, of Cherating. Kampong life is pretty laid back and there are many small cottage industries that follow traditional pursuits, from mengkuang weaving to batik painting. TANJONG JARA

Day 8: Tanjong Jara
The day is at leisure so you can relax and pursue independent activities. You may want to take an optional snorkeling trip to the nearby island. (B

Day 9: Tanjong Jara / Kuala Lumpur / Home
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, connect with your flight for home. (B)
