would find shopping in the Philippines a delightful surprise.
Anywhere a traveler might wander - from the northernmost tip of
Luzon to the southern bottom of Mindanao quality items can be

Philippine products include handicraft items
such as carved statues and religious icons; household items such
as the Tiffany lamps made of Capiz; jewelry made from gold, silver,

toys and electronic items, often at cheaper prices than in other
countries.
Virtually everything in the Philippines can
be bought in Metro Manila. Just along the Tourist Belt (on Mabini
Street in Manila proper), a tourist can acquire a wide variety
of items from rows of specialty shops. For incoming tourist wishing
to go on a hassle-free-shopping expedition there is the duty-free
Fiesta Shopping Complex near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
For extreme shopping expedition, dont forget the bargains at Greenhills
Shopping Center, Quiapo, and of course, for the daring, Divisoria.

Makati Glorietta
Makati is the financial capital of the Philippines and the hub
of the country's most affluent and hip-hpo community. The stores
here carry the best of signature shopping as well as mix of latest
bargains. The shopping center in this city is clustered in the
area of Manila Peninsula Hotel, Shangrilla Makati, Hotel Intercontinental,
New World Hotel, BSA Towers and Mansions. and Oakwood Hotel.
Greenhills
Greenhills Shopping Center is the mecca for
bargain shoppers. Located close to Holiday Inn Galleria Hotel,
EDSA Shangrilla, and Richmonde Hotel, the area is in the center
of the Metropolis. The place is known for bargain furnitures,
clothes, childrens items, automotive, electronics and computer
items.
Tutuban in Divisoria
Divisoria is only for the daring shoppers. It
is full of marvelous discounts with out the frills and convenience
of mall shopping. The Tutuban Mall is located in Divisoria with
the convenience of mall shopping at a great bargain. This is close
to some Manila Hotels along Roxas Boulevard.
Subic Free Port
The Former US Naval facility has been turned
into a giant Free Trade Zone that offers the best in duty free
shopping. It offers the best bargain from products coming from
the USA, Europe, and Asia. They also offer auctions of imported
products, vehicles, furnitures, and machineries.
Cebu City
Shopping in the Philippines is not limited to
Metro-Manila. Cebu as an International Port is teeming with bargains
from local handicraft to the latest fashion from Hong Kong. Ayala
Mall which is close to the airport is one of the latest addition
to the city's hip hop shopping experience. Hotels nearby are Cebu
Shangrilla and Cebu Waterfront.
Davao City
Davao City is known for their pearls and other
handicarfts. A visit to Pearl Farm and the Florendo Plantation
