Day 01 (19NOV/Thursday):  Depart Los Angeles

Depart Los Angeles (LAX) Airport for an overnight flight to Amman.  Enjoy the in-flight service.

 

Day 02 (20NOV/Friday):  Arrival Amman

Arrival Amman, Jordan - Meet and assist at Amman Airport by our guide staff, then transfer to Petra for overnight.

Accommodation:  PETRA PANORAMA OR SIMILAR

 

Day 03 (21NOV/Saturday):  Petra Visit

After breakfast, drive for an extraordinary day!  This morning, your will take you on a tour into the breathtaking Petra the “rose-red" city (by horseback and foot) which begins at the "Siq," a winding canyon road.  At the end of the passage you'll see Petra's most beautiful monument: The Treasury - carved out of the solid rock from the side] of the mountain.  Beyond the Treasury, you'll discover soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a theatre, burial chambers and water channels. If time permits, visit Madaba and its famous Holyland Mosaic, followed by a visit to Mount Nebo.  Tradition holds that Moses viewed the “Promised Land” from this peak.

Transfer to Amman for overnight.

Day 04 (22NOV/Sunday):  Amman –Allenby Bridge - Qumran - Ein-Gedi – Dead Sea

After breakfast, to Allenby Bridge for departure. Cross border to Israel to visit Jericho, the oldest city in the World and then drive to Hotel in Dead Sea.

Visit the Qumran, the site where Dead Sea scrolls were found and continue to visit the Oasis of Ein-Gedi, before continuing to a dead Sea hotel for overnight.

Day 05 (23NOV/Monday):  Dead Sea Hotel – Masada – Dead Sea Hotel

After breakfast, we will enjoy a full morning with the facilities of the hotel and have the opportunity to Swim & "float" at the Dead Sea. In the afternoon climb (with cable car) to visit the Fortress of Masada.

Day 06 (24NOV/Tuesday): Jerusalem-The Old City- Western Wall Tunnels

After breakfast, begin the touring day with a magnificent panoramic view from Mount of Olives, continue to Dominus Flevit Chapel and Garden of Gethsemane, and enter the Church of All Nations.  Then, enter the Old City thru Stephen’s Gate, visit the Western Wall, and enter to the Western Wall Tunnels excavations. Continue to the Pool of Bethesda, known also as St Anne Church. Walk the narrow street to the Ecco Homo Arch. Walk the Stations of the Cross.

Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 07 (25NOV/Wednesday): Jerusalem, New City

Today, we will visit the new city of Jerusalem. Visit  Israel Museum – to see the Shrine of the Book and the Model of Jerusalem from the 2nd Temple period. Then to Mount Zion; King David’s Tomb, Last Supper Room, and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. Visit and communion at the Garden Tomb (Gordon’s Calvary) Then, return to Bethlehem to visit the Nativity Church and Shepherds Fields. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 08 (26NOV/Thursday): On to the Galilee

After breakfast drive thru the Mediterranean Coast to visit Caesarea, the Ancient port and city from Roman Byzantine time, view the Aqueduct and the Roman Theatre. It was in Caesarea that Paul was imprisoned. Continue to Mt Carmel, stop at Stella Maris Our Lady of Mount Carmel and home of the Prophet Elijah. Then drive to Nazareth, to visit the Church of Annunciation and Mary’s Well. At the end of the day we will celebrate the “Renewal of Vows at the Church of Cana”.  Drive to our hotel Golden Crown Nazareth for dinner and overnight.
